Prince William, the Prince of Wales, is embarking on a significant week with the release of his new documentary, 'Prince William: We Can End Homelessness.' This documentary, part of his Homewards initiative, captures his efforts during its first year to tackle homelessness across six locations in the UK. The two-part series is scheduled to air on 30 and 31 October at 9 pm on ITV1, ITVX, STV, and STV Player.
In promotional clips for the programme, Prince William emphasized his dedication to the cause, stating he has "no other agenda" than to assist those in need. When questioned about his suitability to lead such a project, William responded, "I think everyone having a right to a safe and stable home benefits us all I come with no other agenda than desperately trying to help people who are in need."
Inspiration from the past
The campaign holds personal significance for the Prince, who recalls visiting shelters with his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. These visits left a "deep and lasting impression," inspiring his current work. At the recent Centrepoint Awards ceremony, William, as the charity's patron, urged for "systemic change" to address homelessness in the UK.

Family time during half-term break
While focusing on his campaign, Prince William is also enjoying the October half-term with his family. He, along with the Princess of Wales and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, are spending quality time at their Norfolk country residence, Anmer Hall. The Prince, an avid Aston Villa fan, recently shared his excitement over the team's Champions League match against Bologna.
Looking ahead, Prince William is preparing for the Earthshot Prize Awards in Cape Town, South Africa. Earlier this month, he and Princess Kate made a poignant visit to Southport to honor the families of three young victims of a tragic attack and the emergency responders involved. This marked Kate's first significant public appearance since completing chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis in March.
The Princess of Wales is also planning her annual Christmas Carol Service and is expected to participate in the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph in London on 10 November.
