Yellowstone has more in common with classic Western series than you might think.
In fact, the popular TV show features an actor who's related to Bonanza legend Michael Landon. In three marriages, Landon had nine children, and one of them is now a star on Yellowstone.
Michael Landon's daughter stars on Yellowstone
Michael Landon's daughter Jennifer Landon joined the cast of Yellowstone in season 3. If you pay attention to the credits, you may have noticed she plays "Teeter."
That's right: the foul-mouthed, pink-haired ranch hand from Texas is portrayed by the daughter of Michael Landon. She's almost unrecognizable in the role.
Born in 1983, Jennifer Landon followed in her father's footsteps and is a successful actress today. Her mother is Cindy Clerico, Michael's third wife.
Previously, Landon was known for appearing on soap operas As the World Turns and The Young and the Restless. Now, along with Yellowstone, she also has a recurring role on FBI: Most Wanted.

In Yellowstone season 4, the fate of "Teeter" was briefly up in the air when "John Dutton" (Kevin Costner) banned women from the bunkhouse.
But "John" later allowed her to return when he was convinced of her loyalty (she got the brand, after all!). "Teeter" now appears to be a mainstay heading into future seasons of the show.
