'Relic Hunter' was a series that flickered across the screens between 1999 and 2002. The first episode in Germany started on November 12, 2000. She is a history professor at the University of Toronto and is repeatedly hired by private collectors and government agencies to search for missing relics around the world together with her assistant "Nigel". "Sydney" is a real power woman - so it's not surprising that she has to rescue "Nigel" from one dangerous situation or another time and again. And today?

Tia Carrere's acting career took off in the 1980s when she landed her first significant role as "Jade Soong" in 'General Hospital' from 1985 to 1987. Following her stint on "Relic Hunter," Tia Carrere continued to be active in the acting industry and also gained recognition as a voice actress. In 2022, she most recently appeared in 'A Big Fat Family Christmas.' However, it's safe to say that Tia Carrere will always be predominantly remembered for her iconic role as "Sydney" in 'Relic Hunter.' Christien Anholt portrayed "Nigel Bailey", the assistant of "Sydney", who traveled around the world with her to find treasures thought to be lost. The most recent picture of the 'Relic Hunter' star dates back to 2016. Although he was able to secure a few smaller roles in various TV projects after the series ended, Christien Anholt was no longer able to match his old successes. He last appeared in the series "Malory Towers" for four episodes in 2022.

Lindy Booth (pictured here on the left) played "Sydney's" secretary "Claudia" in 'Relic Hunter.' She only got the job because her father is a major donor to the university. She has since appeared in a number of films and series, including 'The Quest - The Series' (2013 to 2018) and 'Grey's Anatomy: The Young Doctors' (2020). She has also directed an episode of 'The Quest' and contributed a song. Most recently, she appeared in 'Christmas by the Book' in 2022.

After "Claudia", "Karen Petrusky" took over the office work for "Sydney", who was embodied by Tanja Reichert. In contrast to her predecessor, she appeared more intelligent and tough.

In contrast to Lindy Booth, Tanja Reichert did not achieve significant success as an actress. Both before and after her role in "Relic Hunter," she appeared in various TV projects but in smaller roles. Her last engagement was in 2010, in the film "Elevator Girl."
