Barry Watson co-stars as junior high school principal "Bruce." TV legend Victor French played the co-lead on the original series.
The new version of the story sees "Angela" take a job as a guidance counsellor at "Bruce's" school, where she changes the lives of troubled youth. Here's the first preview, which was just released this week.
Lifetime describes the movie as "an updated take on Michael Landon's iconic 80s television series." It premieres on the Lifetime channel this Nov. 6.
The original Highway To Heaven aired for five seasons on NBC from 1984 to 1989. In addition to starring in the series, Michael Landon also created it and often directed and wrote the episodes.
