Jennifer Aniston is coming back to the small screen for the first time since Friends concluded in 2004! It seems like Apple TV+'s The Morning Show was the perfect opportunity for "Rachel Green" to return to television. Why?
During an interview with ET Canada, the 50-year-old actress, who recently joined Instagram, explained that finding something she loves to do is not always easy because there are not so many great shows for female stars out there. When she was given the opportunity to star in The Morning Show she immediately thought the project was "a perfect thing to become a part of." Great news is that she will share credits with the fabulous Reese Witherspoon, who also participated in the interview.
Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon worked together in Friends
This is not the first time that Aniston and Witherspoon have worked together. In 2000 they played sisters in Friends. When Aniston was asked about working again with Reese, she hilariously joked, "Well, we’re older, we’re wiser. Thank God." Then she added, "we have a lot more experience under our belts and it’s wonderful to now put forth all those years of work and everything that we’ve learned and put it into a project that we’re so proud of, from the ground up."
