Fox has just released the first trailer for the new 9-1-1: Lone Star spin-off! The upcoming series about emergency responders shows firefighter "Owen Strand" (Rob Lowe) as he tries to save Texas from huge storms, raging fires, and exploding buildings, while he struggles with his own personal problems.
The cast of 9-1-1: Lone Star also includes Liv Tyler as "Michelle Blake," a chief paramedic who is actually the only one who can match wits with "Owen," and who is haunted by the absence of her younger sister who disappeared two years ago.
What else do we know about Fox's 9-1-1: Lone Star?
Ronen Rubinstein (Dead of Summer), Sierra McClain (Mindhunter), and Jim Parrack (True Blood), are also confirmed as cast members of Fox's upcoming show, which is set to premiere in January 2020.
9-1-1: Lone Star will be directed by Bradley Buecker, while Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear, and Brad Falchuk are on board as executive producers, writers, and creators.
