Wait just a minute now. Does Vin Diesel, of all people, make an appearance in the new Avatar movies?
That rumour has been going around for a while now. It seems to go back to a video the Fast & Furious star posted in 2019 with Avatar director James Cameron.
Vin Diesel had visited the set of Avatar: The Way of Water and in a video teased something "top secret." The star hinted at joining the franchise on other occasions too.

So, could Diesel have slipped into costume as a "Na'vi" or perhaps a military character? We now know for sure...
Sadly, there is no hidden Vin Diesel cameo in Avatar 2, nor is he a part of the franchise's future sequels.

Avatar producer Jon Landau shut down the rumour in a new statement. He told Empire Vin Diesel is just "a fan" and his visit to the Avatar set was taken "out of context."
So it seems the Vin Diesel in Avatar buzz was all for not! Nevertheless, Avatar: The Way of Water has quickly become one of the highest-grossing films of all time...
