Some television shows went into hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, including a series of medical dramas like The Resident, Grey's Anatomy, Station 19, New Amsterdam, and The Good Doctor.

COVID-19 concerns are still high, so the television medical dramas have been donating their props, supplies and costumes to real hospitals and locals in need.
Grey's Anatomy and The Resident's producers are donating supplies to local hospitals in California and Atlanta
In California, Krista Vernoff, Station 19's executive producer, who also works on Grey's Anatomy, announced they donated about 300 coveted N95 masks to a local fire station, which was out of masks. On the other hand, the production of Grey's Anatomy donated backstock gowns and gloves to local Los Angeles hospitals.

In Atlanta, the production of Fox's The Resident donated supplies to the local hospital Grady Memorial. The show's staff and crew filled two trunks with masks, gloves, gowns, scrubs, hair covers, shoe covers, isolation gowns, and lab coats.

In addition, New Amsterdam's showrunner David Schulner announced that the medical show donated "everything" to NYC's Bellevue Hospital, following the series production shutdown. Daniel Dae Kim, who stars as "Dr. Cassain" in New Amsterdam, recently revealed he tested postitive for coronavirus.

Last but not least, The Good Doctor, based in Vancouver, sent its medical stock to Canadian government to use and distribute. Cast and crew of the medical dramas are not only giving away their supplies but also doing their part to help by staying home.
