Since 2015, My Big Fat Fabulous Life has been a great success on TLC. Viewers see the everyday life of Whitney Thore, who tries to remain positive throughout all of the negative stereotypes and fat-shaming she must endure. While her show is still airing, she remains active with other forms of media and entertainment.
Her First Memoir
Thore released her first book in May 2016 called, I Do It with the Lights On: And 10 More Discoveries on the Road to a Blissfully Shame-Free Life. In this memoir, she expresses how to have an empowering life without letting boundaries get in the way. Thore is a prominent activist in re-shaping the way we think about body image and sparks the conversation on self-love and acceptance.
Thore has also founded the "No Body Shame" movement, where, according to her website, she focuses on "helping people of every variety live their lives fully, passionately, and free of shame". The group serves as a support group for one another, enjoying annual cruises with dance and yoga classes, workshops, and even booking Whitney as a public or panel speaker!
New Boyfriend?
Thore has recently been posting about a new man all over her social media! It looks like they've been spending a lot of time together, and she definitely seems happy about it! Maybe we'll see more of them on the next season of MBFFL!
The other relationship she shares a strong bond with: her personal trainer! Thore makes sure to maintain a healthy lifestyle by consistently staying active and promoting it all throughout her Instagram. The ladies make a great team together!
Season seven of MBFFL has no set premiere date, but Thore has been posting about the production online. We're looking forward to watching more body positivity on television!
