Tina Fey's Broadway's musical Mean Girls, based on her 2004 teen-comedy, will come back to the big screen! The film will be adapted at Paramount, which released the original version of it, while the 30 Rock star Tina Fey will be writing the script again!

"It’s been incredibly gratifying to see how much the movie and the musical have meant to audiences. I’ve spent sixteen years with these characters now. They are my Marvel Universe and I love them dearly."
Tina Fey's Mean Girls is coming back to the big screen
Originally released in 2004 Mean Girls became a huge classic! The story revolves around "Cady Heron," originally played by Lindsay Lohan, who after growing up on an African savanna returns to the United States to contend with the queen bees of high school.
The fabulous Rachel McAdams and the very talented Amanda Seyfried are also part of the original cast!
Lorne Michaels who produced Mean Girls before is also aboard the new project, as well as Jeff Richmond in the music department, plus lyrics by Neil Benjamin.
