• 'Justified' was a hit show on FX starring Timothy Olyphant

  • 'Justified: City Primeval' brings Timothy Olyphant back to the screen

The hit show 'Justified' was an American neo-Western crime drama television series that premiered on March 16, 2010. Fans everywhere immediately took to the show and Timothy Olyphant became a real household name! Producers have announced a reboot to the series that will see Timothy reprise his role for fans once again.

"Raylan Givens" still has a score to settle

The new 'Justified' reboot, 'Justified: City Primeval', is a stand-alone eight-episode series. The show has now hit screens, streaming on Hulu on July 18. But what is this new show all about? Eight years after the original ended with the steely, quick-draw Deputy U.S. Marshal happily transferred to Miami. And now, 'Justified: City Primeval' picks up with Raylan once again putting work first.

Also interesting:

Olyphant knocks it out of the park yet again. "Givens" reluctantly accepts the assignment to assist in the investigation of Judge Guy’s recent escape from a car bombing. But in true show spirit, as is so often the case, a fairly straightforward situation grows increasingly complex and dangerous.

The car bombing turns out to have been not political and that means that the case is not so simple! "Raylan" has to once again use all of his wits to solve the case. “People are more aware of situations around law enforcement and race relations. That’s a theme we pulled in from westerns, the equivalent of the old gunslinger who all of a sudden sees cars all over dirt road," said showrunner Michael Dinner.
