Through The Years With 'The Bachelorette'

Can you imagine? The Bachelorette has been around since 2003! What better way to start off our list than with the very first! A lot of things have changed for our season one star Trista Rehn! First of all, she is still happily married to her beloved Ryan Sutter and is now the mother of two beautiful children,  Maxwell and Blakesley. On top of that, the young "Bachelorette" was able to star in two other reality TV shows including Dancing With The Stars and Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.

The show's second "Bachelorette" was none other than the stunning Meredith Phillips! After countless dramatic, and tear-filled episodes, she ended up giving her rose to Ian McKee. Like in most reality TV shows, things aren't always as they seem and the couple ended up splitting up only a year after the season's premiere. All in all, Meredith did end up moving onto bigger and better things! Nowadays, she works as a professional chef and is co-president of ProChef, Inc.

Jennifer Schefft will always remain a "Bachelorette" legend after not giving either of the two finalists on the show a rose. Nevertheless, our lovely PR specialist "Jen" continues to live a happy life in Chicago with her husband Joe Waterman. Kids? Of course! The couple have two lovely daughters, Mae and Charlotte. It's been years since we've heard anything juicy from this former reality TV star, so we know that she has exited the spotlight for good.

Well, like most of the young women on this list, DeAnna Pappas's relationship with her hunky bachelor Jesse Csincsak didn't last very long. Only a few months after the season finale, the two ended up splitting up for good. Shortly after, Pappas ended up marrying Stephen Stigliano with whom she currently has two children. She did make some TV appearances here and there, but overall, DeAnna has left the spotlight for good...

Jillian Harris, like many of the contestants on The Bachelorette, thought she would find the one! Sadly, that's not how it always works out. After giving her final rose to contestant Ed Swiderski, they attempted to continue their relationship only to call it quits just a year later. A tragedy, of course, but this didn't stop Jillian Harris in realizing some of her dreams! She currently serves as a host for HGTV's Love It Or List It and has even appeared on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. On top of that, she manages her own interior design website called jillianharris.com. She even has two children with snowboarder Justin Pasutto!

Ali Fedotowsky was the star of the 6th season of The Bachelorette. After handing her final rose to contestant Roberto Martinez marking the season's end, they decided to call it quits nearly a year later, in 2011. What has happened since then, you ask? Well a whole lot! She began working as a Fox News correspondent for the show 1st Look before moving on to blogging for E!, mostly reporting on the events of The Bachelor's current seasons. Ali did end up finding true love eventually! She is currently married to radio host Kevin Manno. They have two children, Riley and Molly. 

Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum... A Bachelor match made in heaven! The two, as you already may know, got married on live television back in December 2012. They did end up having their first son in December 2014 and a daughter a couple of years later. They unfortunately separated a couple of years ago and Ashley is in a new relationship.

To be honest, we had hope for Emily Maynard and Jef Holm's relationship! Shortly after the two finally came together, a scandal ensued involving their wedding date! After the couple announced that they hadn't set a date yet, fans were hanging on to dear life hoping that they would eventually pull through! Sadly, in typical "Bachelor" fashion, Emily announced their official breakup to her fans. Only two years later, in 2014, Emily found herself in a relationship with Tyler Johnson and a year later, their first child was introduced to the world. She now has four children!

Desiree Hartstock was yet another one of the few examples where the reality relationship ended up working out! After Chris Siegfried and Desiree Hartstock finally came together at the end of season 9, Desiree decided to move to Washington to be with her soon-to-be husband. Even today, the now married couple currently reside in the rainy state and now have two lovely children.

Another happy ending destroyed outside of the show's reach! Pro baseball player Josh Murray ended up proposing to Andi Dorfman during the season 10 finale of The Bachelorette. Fans were shocked to find out the two had canceled the upcoming engagement only a few months later. Since the destruction of her so-called "dream wedding", Andi decided to add another book to her elaborate resume: Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak Into Happily Ever After. According to her Instagram, she's happily single!
