These Books Are Turning Into Movies In 2020

The Invisible Man is a remake of the 1897 novel by H.G. Wells. The story follows a man with a very unique power and the results of having such a power. The film is set to be released February 28, 2020 and will star Elisabeth Moss, Aldis Hodge, Storm Reid, Harriet Dyer and Oliver Jackson-Cohen. 

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng takes place in Shaker Heights, Ohio where Ng grew up. A neighbourhood full of secrets will keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to find out what happens next! The miniseries, available only on Hulu, will star Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, and is set to be released on March 18, 2020. 

Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer is a set of 8 fantasy novels that follows the criminal "Artemis Fowl II". The film is expected to be released June 14, 2020 and will star Judi Dench as "Commander Root", Ferdia Shaw as "Artemis Fowl II", and Miranda Raison as "Angeline Fowl". 

From the same author of bestselling book and hit movie Me Before You, The Last Letter From Your Lover by JoJo Moyes follows a young journalist as she uncovers a star-crossed love affair from the 1960s. The Last Letter From Your Lover is expected to be released in late 2020 and will star Shailene Woodley, Joe Alwyn, and Felicity Jones. 

The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn is set to be released as a film on May 18, 2020. The film will star Amy Adams, Gary Oldman, and Anthony Mackie, and follows the story of New York City recluse "Anna Fox" as she spies on her neighbors. 

The much anticipated sequel to Crazy Rich Asians, China Rich Girlfriend, by bestselling author Kevin Kwan, will appear on the big screen sometime in 2020! Fans will be happy to see both Constance Wu and Henry Golding reappear in the sequel, and we will finally find out more about "Rachel's" long lost father "Bao Gaoliang"! 

Author Liane Moriarty did it again! Her successful bestselling novel Nine Perfect Strangers will officially be turned into a TV series this year, and follows nine strangers who embark on a retreat at a remote health resort. Nicole Kidman, who also starred in the miniseries adaptation of Liane Moriarty's novel Big Little Lies, will produce the series that is set to premiere in late 2020!

The classic 1938 novel Rebecca by French author Daphne du Maurier is set to be remade in 2020! Rebecca is the story of a young woman who is haunted by her husband's dead wife "Rebecca". The 2020 film will star Lily James and Armie Hammer, and will appear on Netflix sometime in 2020. 

Another classic novel set to be remade in 2020 is Frances Hodgson Burnett's 1911 novel The Secret Garden. The Secret Garden is about a young British girl who is sent to live with her widowed uncle after the death of her parents, and her discovery of a secret garden behind his house uncovers some long-lost secrets. The film will star actor Colin Firth and is set to be released April 17, 2020!

Stephen King, known for bestselling novels IT and Carrie, will see yet another one of his books turn hit the screen in 2020. The Stand follows a recently escaped man from a bio-weapons facility and the havoc he creates by infecting most of the population with a deadly virus. The TV series will star Whoopi Goldberg, Jovan Adepo, and James Marsden, and is expected sometime in 2020!
