The Wonder Years Reboot In The Works With Black Family Starring
30 years later and ABC is bringing back their vintage show The Wonder Years and has formed an incredible team behind it. The original series centered around a quirky white middle-class family in the typical 1960s suburbs, but now the reboot will follow a Black family in Montgomery, Alabama.
ABC has teamed up with Precious director Lee Daniels, comedy writer behind The Big Bang Theory, Frasier, and The Bernie Mac Show Saladin K. Patterson and even original star of the show Fred Savage! In 1998 Fred was the youngest actor to be nominated for an Emmy for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series at only age 13!
