The prequel to the hit Netflix series The Witcher has finally arrived! It's a miniseries called The Witcher: Blood Origin.
The Witcher: Blood Origin debuted with four episodes in December 2022. Fans have been enjoying this one, so why don't we get to know the cast a little better.

The Witcher: Blood Origin cast – These Are the Actors
Actress Sophia Brown stars in the prequel, set 1,200 years before The Witcher. She plays the lead warrior named "Éile."
Brown is an English actress known mostly from British TV series. Her previous shows include The Capture and Giri/Haji.
Irish actor Laurence O'Fuarain stars in Blood Origin as the vengeful elf "Fjall." O'Fuarain has appeared around Irish TV and film, in addition to episodes of Game of Thrones, Vikings, and Rebellion.
Starring as the sword-elf "Scian" is renowned actress Michelle Yeoh. Over the years, you may have seen the Malaysian star in movies like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Shang-Chi, and the "James Bond" film Tomorrow Never Dies.
Lenny Henry brings his talents to Blood Origin as "Chief Druid Balor." Henry is an English star with a long history in comedy, TV, and screen and stage acting. For his work, he was even knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 2015.

Meanwhile, actress Mirren Mack portrays the princess "Merwyn" on The Witcher: Blood Origin. The actress, who hails from Scotland, is a rising star on British television. Also a stage actress, Mack recently had roles in the series Sex Education and The Nest.
In addition, Blood Origin features actor Jacob Collins-Levy as the army commander "Eredin." An Australian star, Collins-Levy is known for playing "King Henry VII" in The White Princess, and from episodes of Glitch and Young Wallander.
