'The Wilds' Cast

One of the most exciting new shows to come from 2020 is the Amazon Prime drama The Wilds! The show is about a group of teenage girls who are sent on a retreat, only to find themselves stranded on a remote island. New bonds develop and alliances form as the girls find themselves forced to work together to survive— but who can be trusted? 

Instead of casting well-known Hollywood talent to play the complex young women of The Wilds, the series has introduced us to many new talented up-and-coming actresses. Find out more about the characters and cast of The Wilds here!

The Wilds is an ensemble drama that focuses on eight teenage girls— "Leah", "Dot", "Fatin", "Martha", "Shelby", "Toni", "Rachel", and "Nora". While each of their characters may seem like stereotypes at first, they are ultimately proven to be more complex than they first seem, as we watch them develop and learn their tragic backstories.

There's the intelligent and paranoid "Leah", caring and resourceful "Dot", and rebellious and dramatic "Fatin". "Martha" is a shy vegetarian from a reserve, while "Shelby" is a sweet Christian girl from the South who's got a few secrets. "Toni" is a feisty jock who's "Martha's" best friend, and also has a complicated relationship with "Shelby". Finally, the group is rounded out by former star athlete "Rachel" and her sister "Nora", who wants to feel accepted despite her differences. Find out about the actresses who play each of them here!

Sarah Pidgeon plays "Leah Rilke" in The Wilds! Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Pidgeon attended the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, which she graduated from in 2018. The Wilds is her first major project, but she also had minor roles in the television shows Gotham and One Dollar. She has two cats, Minnow and Tinky Winky!

Shannon Berry plays "Dot Campbell" in The Wilds! Born in Melbourne, Australia, Berry has appeared in the television series Hunters and Offspring, the sci-fi film The Gateway, and several other series and shorts. She also identifies as queer in real life, which she casually revealed to fans on Twitter!

Jenna Clause plays "Martha Blackburn" in The Wilds! While she was born in Buffalo, New York, Clause was brought up in southern Ontario. She has made appearances in indie films such as The Furies Inside of Me and Cold Brook, and appeared in a couple of shorts. Clause is also a proud Indigenous Canadian who's a member of the Cayuga Nation Wolf Clan!

Erana James plays "Toni Shalifoe" in The Wilds! Born in Whangarei, New Zealand, James is of Māori descent, and moved to Wellington when she was 10 years old. She has made appearances in television shows like Lucy Lewis Can't Lose and Golden Boy, and starred in the 2017 fantasy horror film The Changeover.

Mia Healey plays "Shelby Goodkind" in The Wilds! Born in Sydney, Australia, Healey ended up moving to New South Wales when she was 13 years old. She initially began her career in the entertainment industry as a model and The Wilds is her very first onscreen credit, making her an exciting newcomer to watch! Healey has also come out to her fans, openly sharing that she is queer!

Sophia Ali plays "Fatin Jadmani" in The Wilds! Hailing from San Diego, California, Ali is one of the more seasoned actresses in the show's cast, beginning her career back in 2003! She has had guest starring roles in shows like The Mick, Faking It, and Grey's Anatomy, and appeared in the horror thriller Truth Or Dare. Ali can next be seen in the upcoming comedy The F*** Happened.

Reign Edwards plays "Rachel Reid" in The Wilds! Born in Harfourd County, Maryland, Edwards has appeared in television shows such as MacGuyver and Snowfall. She also has several film credits, including the upcoming drama Love You Anyway. A singer as well as an actress, Edwards' most famous role is as "Nicole" in the soap opera The Bold and Beautiful, which she received three consecutive Daytime Emmy Award nominations for!

Helena Howard plays "Nora Reid" in The Wilds! The New-York born Howard attended several drama schools, including the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her starring role in the 2018 film Madeline's Madeline led to her receiving critical acclaim. She has also appeared in the Quibi series Don't Look Deeper, and can be seen in the upcoming film Shoplifters of the World!
