The vampire hunter is coming back!
Abel Tesfaye, better known by his stage name The Weeknd will make his film debut later this year in the upcoming Safdie Brothers film Uncut Gems, in which he will share credits with Adam Sandler. The movie is set for a 2019 Toronto International Film Festival premiere.
Who else will join the cast of Uncut Gems?
No details about The Weeknd's role have been provided yet, but we do know that Adam Sandler will portray a jeweler who has to deal with a series of unpredictable situations after a robbery. We also know that other celebrities like Idina Menzel and Judd Hirsch are part of the cast as well.

This will be the first time that the 29-year-old singer will appear on the big screen, however, he recently collaborated with Travis Scott and SZA and released Power is Power, a song featured in For the Throne, a compilation of tracks inspired by the television show Game of Thrones.
