Here at Allvipp, we love our television series, both old and new. So we have put together a list of the top 10 most legendary Christmas or holiday-themed episodes from some of our favourite shows. The Dick Van Dyke Show- "The Alan Brady Show Presents". Released in 1963, Season 3. This episode rates as one of the most enjoyable yet unusual Christmas episodes of the era. An absolute treat you don't want to miss out on!
The Simpsons- "Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire". Released in 1989, Season 1. This is one of three episodes that celebrated Christmas through the ten seasons of the show. Sharply funny, this Christmas episode is a winner in our books!
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air- "'Twas The Night Before Christening". Released in 1994, Season 4. This episode takes place in the future with flashbacks to the present day. With music from Boyz II Men and some sneaky Christmas fibs, this episode is sure to be a holiday favourite!
Everybody Loves Raymond- "The Toaster". Released in 1998, Season 3. This episode is sure to have you laughing when Ray's festive gift of an engraved toaster to his parents gets traded in and they desperately try to hunt down that toaster. What says Merry Christmas like an engraved toaster?!
Friends- "The One With The Holiday Armadillo". Released in 2000, Season 7. This hilarious episode stems from "Ross'" worry that his son "Ben" is learning too much about Christmas and not enough about Hanukkah. This is one holiday episode you don't want to miss!
The Office (UK)- "Christmas Special, Part 2". Released in 2003, as a special. This is the episode that ended on a high note by resolving every major plot twist and concluding every major character with love and tenderness. Ending one of the most touching series in television history, this episode is a must-see.
Modern Family- "Undeck the Halls". Released in 2009, Season 1. Our first Christmas with Modern Family is one to remember when a burn mark on the sofa appears and "Phil" and "Claire" are determined to get to the bottom of which child is responsible for the burn mark. You'll get a laugh out of this one!
