The Princess Diaries is back! As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, Aadrita Mukerji is to write the screenplay for the upcoming third part of the film franchise. This will be a sequel to the films centered around "Mia Thermopolis" and her new life as a princess.
Is Anne Hathaway back as "Mia"?
Anne Hathaway (40), who embodied "Mia" in the first two films, is said to have not yet closed a deal to return to the role. Just last month, Anne hinted that she was "excited" about a third film in the franchise as she revealed to Entertainment Tonight.
