In The Fellowship of the Ring, as "Gandalf" rolls into Hobbiton on his cart for "Bilbo's" birthday celebration you can see the lights of a plane above the hobbit huts.

The seal on the envelope in which "Bilbo" put the ring for "Frodo" seems to change multiple times. It becomes apparent in the scene when "Gandalf" closes and seals the envelope, but when he hands the envelope to "Frodo", the seal looks totally different.

The wizard "Gandalf's" horse “Shadowfax” was portrayed by – at least – two different horses during the shoot. It becomes clear when you look at the horse’s blaze and the legs.
