During the film "Beetlejuice" brings "Delia's" sculptures to life and they imprison her and her husband. They helplessly watch in horror as 'Beetlejuice' tries to force "Lydia" to marry him, and she is grateful to the "Maitlands" when they rescue her whilst banishing "Beetlejuice".

Catherine O'Hara started her acting career in the mid-'70s, but later moved on to writing scripts in the mid-'80s and even received an Emmy for one of them in 1982. She returned to acting after a short while, starring in Emmy nominated movies such as 'Heartburn' and 'Best of Show'. She is still going strong, playing roles in feature films such as Where the Wild Things Are and Kiss & Kill.O'Hara won an Emmy for her role as "Moira Rose" in 'Schitt's Creek' in 2020. Interestingly enough, she was also a musician, working with the band Northern Lights for a short period of time. She has been working as a product designer since 1992 and is currently married to Bo Welch, with whom she has two sons.
