On The Big Bang Theory, "Amy" was played by actress Mayim Bialik. She was the neurobiologist girlfriend and later wife of "Sheldon" who joined the scientist clique in season 3. But did you know "Amy" was almost played by another star who later appeared on the show?

But, behind the scenes, also in consideration for the role of "Amy" was actress Kate Micucci, according to Screenrant. At the time, she already had sitcom experience on Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, and Malcolm in the Middle.

However, Micucci did not end up without a role in The Big Bang Theory entirely. In 2013, she was cast as "Lucy," the anxious friend of "Raj." She was seen in the comedy series for a total of eight episodes.
