"Melvin Udall" is just an overall unpleasant person. He can be considered a misanthrope and suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder. Despite all of his shortcomings, he is one of the best writers in New York City. The only person who can tolerate his behaviour is none other than the waitress "Carol Connelly," played by Helen Hunt, and with the help of his roommate "Simon Bishop," (Greg Kinnear) "Melvin" and "Carol" finally end up together in the end...

One of Eddie Murphy's many classics! Coming To America follows the young "Prince Akeem" who decides to travel to America in search of an intelligent, loving and thoughtful wife after being mismatched with another woman his parents sought to be fit to be his wife. The young African prince finds his true love, just not in the way he expected...
