The extended look at the new film also gives us a glimpse at the late Carrie Fisher as "General Leia Organa" and Billy Dee Williams makes his return to the franchise in his role of the brave "Lando Calrissian". While we see "Rey", "Finn" and "Poe" facing off with the First Order as they lead the resistance in its fight against their oppressors to bring peace to the galaxy, we hear a voice-over from the late "Luke Skywalker" (Mark Hamill). He tells "Rey" that "confronting fear is the destiny of a Jedi" which tells us that she will eventually have to face "Kylo Ren" (played by Adam Driver) as well as the Emperor.

Star Wars - The Rise of Skywalker will be released on December 20, 2019. Stay tuned for more Star Wars news!
