We're eagerly awaiting Star Wars Day 2020. Last week, Disney announced that a new docuseries about The Mandalorian is coming to Disney+ on May 4.
It's titled Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian. The eight-episode series is described as a roundtable discussion and behind-the-scenes look at the making of The Mandalorian.

The trailer is accompanied by the description: "Go beyond the making of The Mandalorian. Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, an Original Series, starts streaming May the 4th, only on Disney+."
The preview shows visuals from the production of the series, and extensive discussions with the creators. Jon Favreau is seen leading the talks with filmmakers including Taika Waititi, Deborah Chow, and Bryce Dallas Howard - all of whom directed episodes in season 1.
We also get a behind-the-scenes view of German director-actor Werner Herzog interacting with "Baby Yoda," which should be more than enough enticement to check out the docuseries when it hits Disney+.

The Mandalorian on Disney+: Season 2 is coming soon
Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian comes to Disney+ on May the 4th, aka Star Wars Day. It should more than tide over the gap in Star Wars content until season 2 of The Mandalorian debuts in October 2020.
Plus, news just broke that season 3 is already in the works! In case it wasn't clear already, Disney+ is the place to be for Star Wars fans. Enjoy the Mandalorian docuseries in just a few weeks.
