That's right Bachelor Nation, the wait is finally over as we prepare to watch Colton find love (for the third time) as season 23 of the reality romance series The Bachelor gets under way tonight on ABC. Colton Underwood is a 26 year old American man whose good looks, charming personality, vulnerability and love for dogs and philanthropy, took Bachelor Nation by storm when he appeared on Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette in May 2018.
Sparks flew for both Colton and Becca during his time on her season, however there was always his previous relationship with Bachelor alumni Tia Booth lurking over them. Colton expressed to Becca on a one-on-one date that he is a virgin and that fact alone became one of his most well-known and talked about traits throughout the course of the season (and still today). Things ended in heartbreak for Colton after the hometown dates when Becca decided she just didn't feel the same way.
Colton got his second chance at love when he was invited to be a part of Bachelor in Paradise in summer 2018 where old flame Tia Booth also happened to be. Coincidence? We think not. We were hopeful for a while that things might work out for Tia and Colton until yet again, Colton just couldn't handle it anymore. He broke up with Tia and left the show only for us to find out a day later that he was going to be the next Bachelor.
We are hopeful that the third time's the charm for Colton in his journey to find love. He has said that he is doing things much differently on this season of The Bachelor. What exactly is he doing differently you might ask? Well you will just have to watch to find out!
