In the first two seasons of SeaQuest DSV, Roy Scheider plays the role of "Captain Nathan Bridger," who sets sail with his crew on a glorious adventure. Funnily enough, "Nathan" was also one of the designers of the SeaQuest submarine. Check out the next slide to find out what he's up to now!

After his role in SeaQuest DSV, Scheider played a wide variety of roles in movies and TV shows including films like Daybreak, The Punisher, and Dark Honeymoon. His last performance was in the production of Iron Cross. The actor sadly passed away at the age of 76 due to leukemia.

Jonathan Brandis played the role of young scientist "Lucas Wolenczak" in SeaQuest DSV. "Lucas" was able to create the "vocoder," a machine used to translate the sounds of dolphins into English. The young actor first became internationally famous for playing the role of "Bastian Bux" in The NeverEnding Story. Tragically, the actor took his own life at the age of 27 due to chronic depression.

Commander "Johnathan Ford" was played by none other than Don Franklin. "Johnathan," who was an officer on the ship, later helped "Nathan Bridge" become the SeaQuest submarine captain.

After the series ended, Franklin was able to secure a lead role in the series Seven Days. Ever since then, he has had small guest appearances in a wide range of shows, including NCIS, Daybreak, and Bones.

"Anthony Piccolo," played by actor Michael DeLuise, joined the sub's crew as a simple seaman. The ex-convict was part of a scientific program where he let experts perform experiments on him. "Tony" eventually received genetically altered lungs which gave him the ability to breathe underwater. He was also able to reach the rank of officer in the third season of the show.

Michael DeLuise was made internationally famous after securing the role of officer "Joey Penhall" in the 1990s show 21 Jump Street. After his role in SeaQuest DSV, he starred in the shows Brooklyn South, NYPD Blue, and Gilmore Girls.

Edward Kerr, a.k.a. "James Brody," was the tactical officer of the SeaQuest Crew who led missions into enemy territory throughout the series. The role was originally supposed to be given to Dan Gauthier or Paul Gross, but Kerr was deemed most worthy in the end. Let's find out what he looks like today!

Edward starred in the hit series Pretty Little Liars back in 2012 playing the role of pastor "Ted Wilson". Before that, he was involved in the TV shows What I Like About You and Three Sisters.
