'Saved By The Bell' Cast: What Happened To Them?

Mark-Paul Gosselaar plays the role of "Zack Morris" in the legendary teen sitcom 'Saved By The Bell. A guy with a knack for business, sports and, of course, the ladies, "Zack" was probably one of the more well-rounded sweethearts on the show. He was almost perfect in every way! No wonder he was a huge '90s heartthrob!

Mark-Paul Gosselaar starred in all the 'Saved By The Bell' series, including 'Saved By The Bell: The New Class' and 'Saved By The Bell: The College Years'. He later joined the cast of 'NYPD Blue' from 2001 to 2005. Over the years, he has appeared in movies like 'Heist' and 'Precious Cargo'. Gosselaar is currently divorced and has two children, Michael Charles and Ava Lorenn.

Tiffani Thiessen played the role of "Kelly Kapowski" in the series 'Saved By The Bell'. She was considered to be one of the most popular kids in school whilst being head cheerleader and captain of the volleyball, swim and softball team. She was a good student through and through, but did end up getting some Saturday detention here and there. Overall, she is a great role model and a pleasant person to be around!

Tiffani Thiessen, like many of her former co-stars, appeared in all the 'Saved By The Bell' spin-offs. She also starred in 'Beverly Hills 90210' (1994-1998), 'Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place' (1998-2001), and 'White Collar' (2009-2014). Thiessen married fellow actor Brady Smith in 2005, and they have two children together.

Lark Voorhies played "Lisa Marie Turtle," the rich girl often seen in designer clothes, on 'Saved By The Bell.' While "Lisa" was more of a secondary character, Voorhies went on to star in other TV shows like 'Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,' 'Family Matters,' and all the 'Saved By The Bell' spin-offs. Her last role was in the direct-to-video 'Little Creeps.' Throughout her career, she won two Young Artist Awards for 'Saved By The Bell' and 'Good Morning, Miss Bliss.'

"Samuel 'Screech' Powers," played by Dustin Diamond, was one of the only characters who appeared throughout the show's entire lifetime until it´s series finale in 1993. "Screech" is a rather simple character, being the typical geek of the group who lacks certain social skills.

A lot of things changed since the 'Saved By The Bell' series finale. He has had several roles in shows, like all of the 'Saved By The Bell' spin-offs and, most importantly, on Celebrity 'Big Brother'. In 2009, he published a book called 'Behind The Bell' which described his somewhat negative experiences behind the scenes of the show. In the midst of all of this craziness, Diamond was still able to form an alternative rock band called 'The Salty Pocketknife'. Tragically, he passed away on February 1st, 2021 at the age of 44 due to lung cancer.

"Albert Clifford" aka "A.C. Slater" is the school's star athlete who started out as the outsider, having only transferred a few years prior. He excels in several different sports, particularly wrestling and football. His parents are in the army which means he has lived in several places, including Berlin, Bolivia, and Iceland.

Mario Lopez never really landed any major roles after 'Saved By The Bell' ended, but he has been able to acquire a huge amount of smaller roles over the years. From hosting 'MTV Top Pop Group' and 'America's Best Dance Group' to the occasional voice role in 'Robot Chicken', this man has pretty much done it all. His most recent role was in an episode of 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'. Lopez is currently married to Courtney Mazza, a Broadway singer, whom he currently has three children with.

"Jessica 'Jessie' Myrtle Spano" is a lifelong friend of "Screech," "Kelly," and "Zack". She is "Zack's" neighbour, therefore they are seen spending a lot of time together throughout the series. "Jessie" is a very open-minded character who's liberal and feminist, often talking about her ideas with her friends and family.
