According to Deadline, Warner Bros. was also considering Mad Max star Nicholas Hoult for the job.Though the plot is not yet known, the story will focus on a younger Bruce Wayne and his superhero alter ego. As "Bruce Wayne", Pattinson follows in the footsteps of famous actors such as Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale and Ben Affleck.
The Batman with Robert Pattinson will be released in 2021
