'Prison Break' Cast: Through The Years

The Prison Break cast first wowed us on FOX from 2005 until 2009. After the cancellation, the popular drama series featuring Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell eventually got a final chapter in nine parts in 2017!

Wentworth Miller played the lead role of "Michael Scofield" in the beloved action series. "Scofield's" main goal throughout the series was to help his brother "Lincoln" and later his own wife to break out of prison. As we thought in the meantime his wife's breakout led to his death even. Dominic Purcell, who plays "Michael's" brother "Lincoln Burrows", is also returning to the show. Both actors took the time to focus on other projects over the last couple of years during Prison Break's absence. In the meantime, both of them have starred in the hit series The Flash since 2014, for instance.He is well known for wearing sunglasses to photo-ops indoors and outdoors!

Brothers "Michael Scofield" and "L.J. Burrows" captivated viewers everywhere with their incredible commitment to each other through it all. Since 2016 the two save the world as superheroes in The Flash and the Arrow-spin-off series Legends of Tomorrow.

Paul Adelstein is most known for his role as Secret Service Agent "Paul Kellerman" in Prison Break. After the show had ended, he was able to get the role of "Dr. Cooper Freedman" in the Grey's Anatomy spin-off Private Practice. Adelstein then also returned to Prison Break in 2017 playing the role of "Paul" once again.

Amaury Nolasco played the role of inmate "Fernando Sucre" in the TV show Prison Break. After the official series ended in 2010, Nolasco moved on to action movies such as Transformers, and A Good Day To Die Hard. "Fernando" is also present in season 5 of Prison Break.

Even Robert Knepper, alias "Theodore 'T-Bag' Bagwell", returned to the show as well. Before involvement in the fifth season of Prison Break, he was starring in a variety of movies such as R.I.P.D. or The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

Sarah Wayne Callies is best known for her role as "Sara Tancredi" in the series Prison Break. "Tancredi" later marries the prison escapee and main character "Michael Scofield" in the last season of the show. Before her involvement in the Prison Break mini-series sequel in 2017, Wayne Callies had played the role of "Lori Grimes" in the AMC series The Walking Dead.She also starred in the tornado thriller Into the Storm.

Robin Tunney played the lawyer "Veronica Donovan" in the first season of Prison Break. After a few movie roles, she has also been able to get the female lead role in the TV series The Mentalist in 2008.She was recently featured in Monster Party, Horse Girl, and The Fix.

Agent "Alexander Mahone" actor William Fichtner has appeared in numerous movie roles after his success in Prison Break, such as The Dark Knight, Drive Angry and Elysium. Fichtner's latest role on the big screen was in the remake of the 1990s sensation Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back in 2014. His last appearance on the small screen was in the TV show Shooter in 2016. He continues to star in badass roles in hits like 12 Strong, All the Devil's Men, Finding Steve McQueen, Empire, and Veep.
