Priscilla Presley talks candidly about 'Priscilla'
Sofia Coppola's new film is causing a stir in Hollywood. 'Priscilla', which officially premieres on November 3rd, takes a look at the life of Priscilla Presley (78) and her relationship with the Elvis.
In a behind-the-scenes interview from 'A24', the real Priscilla Presley sits down with Coppola to talk about the upcoming film.
“When I read Priscilla’s memoir, I was just struck with what an unusual, wild ride her life has been,” Coppola says. Priscilla is quick to respond: “It’s a long story".
“We know so much about Elvis, and it was really important to me to show the story through Priscilla’s experiences," Coppola continues. Priscilla was equally excited to work with Sofia Coppola.
“I’ve seen all of her movies. And her sensitivity, her understanding of women, she really puts her heart and soul into it. I would never do this with anyone else," Priscilla says earnestly.

While the film takes a close look at Priscilla and Elvis' complicated relationship, Sofia Coppola is able to present the story in a way that everyone can understand and be happy with. Priscilla has previously posted her praise for the film on Instagram.

'Priscilla' opens in theatres on November 3rd, and stars Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny.
