Today, Morgan apparently tuned in to The Talk and didn't much care for what he heard. He tweeted, "I demand an apology from those [The Talk] bullies for their disgraceful slurs against ME."

Morgan also angrily referenced that Osbourne has since apologized for supporting him. "Sharon's been shamed and bullied into apologising for defending me against colleagues accusing me of racism because I don't believe Meghan Markle's bullsh*t. This is where we've reached," he wrote.

Sharon Osbourne apologized after defending Piers Morgan

Osbourne's apology is the latest turn in the Talk controversy. She had initially said Morgan wasn't racist and felt accused of racism herself for defending him. At that point, Underwood countered that Osbourne was giving "safe haven" to Morgan's point of view, which many saw as racist.

On Thursday night, Osbourne shared a Twitter apology, writing that she now sees the "distinction" between support of freedom of speech and condoning "racism, misogyny or bullying." She added, "I hope we can all hold each other up with accountability, compassion and love during this powerful time of paving the way for so much needed change."

Morgan sparked controversy this week when he said he did not "believe a word" of Duchess Meghan's interview with Oprah. While some sided with Morgan's view, others harshly condemned his attack on Meghan, given she opened up about suicidal thoughts and difficulties with getting mental health assistance while with the Royal Family.
