"And the Oscar goes to..." will soon be heard once again! On February 8, the nominees for the 2022 Oscars were announced. Tracee Ellis Ross and Leslie Jordan hosted the short broadcast, reading out the list of contenders and joined by film fans in between segments.
Kristen Stewart received her first Oscar nomination for Spencer, while Lady Gaga was shockingly not nominated for her performance in House of Gucci. Steven Spielberg received a nod for directing West Side Story, with the film itself nominated for Best Picture. Check out the full list of films and performers recognized by the Academy here!
