Netflix has just shared the first trailer for a brand-new reality show that's coming later this month called Bling Empire! As People reports, the upcoming series is set in Los Angeles and will follow the extravagant lives of a "wildly wealthy" Asian and Asian-American friend group.

Netflix's first look at Bling Empire introduces several of its key players, including model Kevin Kreider and Kane Lim! "My friends, they're a little kooky but they mean well," Kreider is seen admitting in the trailer. As for Lim, who's the son of a Singaporean billionaire, he calls shopping "the best therapy."
"While their days and nights are filled with fabulous parties and expensive shopping sprees, don't let the glitz and glamour fool you," the official description for the series reads. "Between running multi-billion dollar businesses and traveling the world, these friends are as good at keeping secrets as they are at spilling them. And there is certainly no shortage of secrets."

Bling Empire even features a cast member with a connection to royalty! "In China, my husband's father would be an emperor and baby G would be a little prince," plastic surgeon Christine Alexandra Chiu is seen explaining in the clip.
As People mentions, Christine and her husband, Dr. Gabriel Chiu, are the founders of Beverly Hills Plastic surgery. Some of the other notable personalities who will appear on Bling Empire include fashionistas Jaime Xie and Cherie Chan, as well as DJ Kim Lee. Anna Shay, Kelly Mi Li, Florent Bonadei, Andrew Gray, and Jessey Lee are all part of the cast as well.
Bling Empire premieres on Netflix on January 15. It seems likely that the wild new series will appeal to reality show junkies, as well as fans of the popular 2018 film Crazy Rich Asians!
