There's a new character in town. Newcomer Moon Bloodgood (44, "Katherine Casillas") has joined the NCIS: L.A. team in the most recent episode, crossing paths with "Sam" (LL Cool J, 51) and "Callen" (Chris O'Donnell, 49) as well as working closely with "Kensi".

"Katherine" is an insurance broker. In the fifth episode, aptly named "Provenance", a painting worth 40 million dollars is stolen. "Katherine", who works for the company that insured the painting, gets involved in the case.
Before the painting can be sold on the black market, the team has to find it. The proceeds could be used to finance terrorist activities. Sam" and "Callen" first meet "Katherine" at the crime scene.
According to TV Insider, Moon Bloodgood will return as "Katherine" in the seventh episode ("Concours D'Elegance") which is set to air on November 10. In the episode, the team investigates the theft of an underwater drone prototype and its link to a fancy party of a video game streamer, whose property and processions are insured by "Casillas".
NCIS: L.A. Season 11: Will "Katherine" stick around?
Many fans of the crime series are convinced that Moon Bloodgood could appear on a regular basis as "Katherine" in season eleven. There is also speculation that there could be a something brewing between her and "Callen".
NCIS: L.A. fans - us included - would love to see her more often this season seeing how her chemistry with the team was pretty great!
