After the end of Miami Vice, Don Johnson focused on his film career. Besides many others, Johnson featured in Born Yesterday in 1993, together with his ex-wife Melanie Griffith. In 2012, Johnson played a plantation owner in the highly successful Django Unchained and in 2015, was featured in the ABC series Blood & Oil, which was canceled after one season. But Johnson hasn't stopped acting: In 2017, he starred in Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Knives Out, and HBO's Watchmen.
