LeBron's post skyrocketed to nearly 5 million views and over 1 million likes in less than 24 hours on Instagram. If that's any indicator, Space Jam: A New Legacy is a highly-anticipated movie!
The original film, which starred Michael Jordan, was a blockbuster hit in 1996. The live-action and animation hybrid had Looney Tunes characters hit the basketball court with Jordan.
Ever since, rumours of a sequel have floated around, but they were finally confirmed in 2014. Anticipation for the new film also grew after Space Jam was added to Netflix in March 2020.
The new movie's official Twitter account also updated its cover photo with a high quality version of the logo seen on LeBron's hat. It's accompanied by text that announces "LeBron James" and "Bugs Bunny" as the film's stars.
