"Ben Stone" works at the Manhattan District Attorney's office under "Alfred Wentworth" and "Adam Schiff." Being raised in an Irish-Catholic family, "Stone" bases most of his morals in his religious beliefs. At times he is known as the strict and unyielding boss, but fair nevertheless.

Micheal Moriarty left the cast of Law & Order in 1994 due to a lawsuit filed against the show, claiming it too violent for viewers. This lawsuit led to numerous disputes with the show's producers where he claimed that executives were giving in to enemies and reducing the violence on the show. The producers claimed a different story, saying that Moriarty was removed from the show because of his erratic behaviour. He has moved on to star in several different productions such as in Hitler Meets Christ and The Yellow Wallpaper.
