Killing Eve will go out with a bang in 2022. Today, it was announced that the spy-assassin thriller will conclude after a fourth and final season, which enters production this summer.
Killing Eve ending after season 4 — spinoffs a possibility
While the popular thriller starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer will last just four seasons, BBC America reportedly has several spin-off concepts in the works. According to Deadline, it's unlikely that "Eve" (Oh) or "Villanelle" (Comer) will front a new show, but the criminal organization "The Twelve" or other areas of the spy-assassin world could be explored in new projects.
Fans last saw Killing Eve in the spring of 2020, when season 3 aired and concluded with a cliffhanger teasing closer-than-ever ties between "Eve" and "Villanelle." Season 4 would've aired in 2021, but the production was delayed a full year due to the pandemic.
Killing Eve season 4 shooting in 2021, release date in 2022

In terms of viewing numbers, the series peaked at the end of season 1, while it brought in similar but somewhat lower numbers in both seasons 2 and 3.
Killing Eve was met with glowing reviews in seasons 1 and 2 but followed with mixed reviews for season 3.
