The Culkin family is no exception to the rule: They, too, watch Home Alone every Christmas.

Kieran Culkin confirmed this fact in his new virtual appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, saying that they "absolutely" watch it as a family tradition. The 42-year-old actor, whose first film role came in Home Alone, also revealed other surprising memories of the beloved holiday classic.

Home Alone: Kieran Culkin reflects on classic Christmas movie

In the interview, host Corden expressed his love for Home Alone, before asking Culkin if the film plays in his family's household over the holidays. "Absolutely," Culkin confirmed. "Like every Christmas that's just on. I think we used to watch it a bunch even as a kid, so it just has that same sort of nostalgia."

Kieran, who played bespectacled cousin "Fuller" to his brother's "Kevin" in Home Alone, also shared that he didn't realize Macaulay was the film's star when he shot it as a 7-year-old.

"I didn't really know what the movie was about when we were doing it, so it was a fresh, brand-new movie when I saw it," he said.

"There's a part in the movie where there's the kid who gets his head counted incorrectly and he goes, 'Bye, bring me back something French!' I thought the movie was about that kid.

"And it made sense when I saw it. I remember seeing it in the theatre at the premiere. I was dying laughing and I was like, 'Oh, that makes sense 'cause Mac was on set all the time'."
