Kaley Cuoco is starring in a suspenseful new series for HBO Max, and now we've gotten a first look at it! As People shares, the trailer for The Flight Attendant was released on Tuesday, and it certainly seems like it will be exciting!
Cuoco plays the lead role of "Cassandra" in the show
Cuoco's new show is based on 2018 Chris Bohjalian's novel of the same name. In the series, she plays flight attendant "Cassandra," who ends up becoming romantically involved with a passenger— an affair that results in deadly consequences!
That's because as People mentions, "Cassandra" awakens to find her date is dead, and she has no memory of the night before. "The whole night is just flickers," she's seen saying in the trailer. "I can't remember anything about it."
Cuoco says the show has been "a whole new experience"
Cuoco's character "Cassandra's" situation becomes further complicated when the police get involved, suspecting that she's withholding information from them! "The flight attendant, she knows more than she's saying," an officer says at one point.
The actress told People what had drawn her to the project. "I wanted to try something different, especially more of a dramatic role, which I don’t think anyone thinks I can do," Cuoco shared, "and I know that I can, so I’m really excited about that. It’s been a whole new experience experiencing a show not just as an actor."
The Flight Attendant also stars Michiel Huisman, Zosia Mamet, Rosie Perez, T.R. Knight, Merle Dandridge, and Colin Woodell. And as People mentions, the episodes will be released in four installments! The first three episodes will drop on November 26, followed by two episodes on both December 3 and December 10, with the finale on December 17.
