After a compelling supporting role alongside Charlize Theron in the action film 'Atomic Blonde' (2017), Bill Skarsgård (33) skyrocketed to fame with his portrayal of the iconic clown "Pennywise" in the Stephen King adaptation of 'It'. Contrary to his on-screen persona, in real life, the actor is anything but scary.
This handsome Swede isn't entirely unknown. In 2016, he portrayed "Matthew" in the third installment of the 'Destiny' series, 'Allegiant', and also secured a small role in the 2012 film adaptation of the novel 'Anna Karenina'.

Bill Skarsgård's acting prowess runs in the family. The 33-year-old is the son of the renowned actor Stellan Skarsgård, celebrated for his roles in 'Schindler's List' (1993), 'Good Will Hunting' (1997), and the new 'Dune' films (2021 - 2023). Notably, three of Bill's brothers also tread the boards, with Alexander Skarsgård gaining fame for his portrayal of "Eric" in the vampire series 'True Blood'.
'It' served as the launching pad for Bill Skarsgård's meteoric career. Following this breakout role, he graced screens in 'Deadpool 2' and Marvel's 'Eternals' (2021), among others. In 2022, he delved into the criminal world as "Clark Olofsson" in the Netflix series 'Clark', a show credited with popularizing the term "Stockholm Syndrome". Continuing his streak, 2023 saw him appearing in both 'John Wick 4' and 'Boy Kills World'.
