New Netflix movies and TV shows: The highlights
As usual, Netflix's new content features a mix of classic movies, some recent releases that are streaming for the first time, new TV series episodes, and Originals.
For beloved classic titles, Netflix in May 2020 will add the first two Back to the Future movies and Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (the 1971 Gene Wilder film).
If Jim Carrey movies are your thing, you're in luck: Fun with Dick & Jane and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective join Netflix in May.

The recent Adam Sandler drama movie, Uncut Gems, hits US Netflix in May as well, after having debuted worldwide earlier.
For the kids, there's Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. Comedy specials are also on the way from Jerry Seinfeld and Patton Oswalt, to name just a few.
One of David Fincher's best films, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, streams beginning on May 1 too. The highly anticipated queer young adult film, The Half of It, also debuts on the platform next month.
New episodes of Grey's Anatomy, Riverdale, and The Flash are among the TV series highlights, as is the new Netflix Steve Carell sitcom Space Force.
