Reportedly, British singer Harry Styles is ready to concentrate on his acting career. After appearing in the movie Dunkirk and confirming his participation in the film Don’t Worry Darling, the former member of the band One Direction could become the star of the film My Policeman.
According to Deadline, Styles is in talks with Amazon Studios to take the lead role in the film adaptation of the Bethan Roberts novel.

Just a few days after being recruited by Olivia Wilde to appear in the thriller Don't Worry Darling, English singer Harry Styles may be about to add yet another credit to his acting career roster.
This week, Deadline reported that Styles, 26, is in talks with Amazon Studios to star in the film adaptation of the novel My Policeman, which will be directed by Michael Grandage.
In the film, Styles would play "Tom Burgess," a gay police officer who marries a school teacher despite being in love with his best friend, "Patrick." When the woman learns of the love affair between her husband and his friend, she decides to report "Patrick", at a time when homosexuality was prohibited in the UK.
Ron Nyswaner, Oscar winner for the screenplay of Philadelphia will be in charge of adapting the story.
Lily James, known for her work in films such as Cinderella and Yesterday has also held talks with the film's producers to join the project.
