• "Ginny" was a major 'Harry Potter' character
  • But she was hardly in the movies
  • This is what Bonnie Wright criticizes

Bonnie Wright (32) became a star in her childhood through 'Harry Potter'. From the first to the last film, she was there as "Ginny Weasley". The character got a bigger and bigger role in the books, while she was very rarely seen in the movies.

Bonnie Wright wanted more "Ginny" scenes

Not only the fans but also Bonnie Wright is disappointed that she didn't get many scenes. In the ‘Inside of You’ podcast, she explains:

"I definitely feel there was anxiety toward performing and doing the best thing as my character built, for instance. Like, ‘Oh gosh, will I do justice to this character that people love?’ So that was always hard to do, especially when, inevitably, a lot of the scenes of every character were chopped down from the book to the film."

"Sometimes that was a little disappointing because there were parts of the character that just didn’t get to come through because there weren’t the scenes to do that. That made me feel a bit anxious or just frustrated, I guess."
