Brad Maule played the role of "Dr. Tony Jones" on General Hospital from 1984 to 2006 on and off. His character died in 2006 from the terrible encephalitis epidemic that swept through General Hospital, so we have to assume that he will be returning as a ghost.
"Tony" comes back to help "Lucas"
"Dr. Tony Jones" is expected to reprise his role back in Port Charles in November and this is what we know so far: "Tony’s adopted son Lucas (Ryan Carnes) learns that his birth father has been blackmailing his husband Brad (Parry Shen). Lucas struggles with the void in his life due to Tony’s absence," according to Entertainment Weekly.
In order to help "Lucas", a visit from "Tony" is in order. We know at the very least that Maule is making his return in order to help his son "Lucas" and we can't wait to see what exactly he will do and how long he will stay. Until then, that's all we know. Stay tuned!
Brad Maule has starred in many other soaps after his role on General Hospital including Passions, Port Charles and The Young and the Restless.
