Game of Thrones has become an entertainment phenomenon and a series that is so well-known all over the world since it's first release in 2011. Starring Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Sophie Turner and more, the series has become a fan-favourite among many celebrities as well. The end of season 7 left us with many questions and we aren't too sure we will get all the answers in only 6 episodes of the final season.
Game of Thrones Season 8 Premiere
The season premiere for season 8 was a great one. We didn't see any battles as most of this first episode focused on reunions. Some of them were joyful reunions, while other ones were just plain awkward. It had been a while for us with the almost two year break between seasons, however it was as if no time had passed for our favourite characters on the show.
Season 8 Fixes Season 7 Mistakes
Last night's episode was also able to do it's best at fixing some of the silly mistakes that were made in season 7. For instance, we get some answers between "Tyrion" (Peter Dinklage) and "Sansa" (Sophie Turner) in regards to "Tyrion's" plan to catch a wight and bring it to show "Cersei" (Lena Headey) to convince her to join the "Starks" and "Darnerys". We also see how "Yara Greyjoy" (Gemma Whelan) gets out of her capture from season 7...
Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 2 Preview
All in all we were very pleased with last night's episode. It was a great start to what we hope will be the best season of Game of Thrones yet! Here is a little glimpse into what we can expect next week... Watch season 8, episode 2 Sunday, April 21st on HBO.
