Friends fans got an unexpected treat on Thursday when James Corden shared that he'd filmed a "Carpool Karaoke" with the show's cast! Corden hosted the Friends reunion special— which debuted last month on HBO Max— so it made sense that he would take advantage of having the group together for a fun moment!
Corden and Friends cast sing as they drive through studio lot
Friends is known for its iconic opening song "I'll Be There For You," performed by The Rembrandts. Since Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" sees celebrities perform their hits while driving around with him, it comes as no surprise he had the stars of the hit sitcom take on the theme!
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow joined Corden in a golf cart for the segment. They were enthusiastic about the performance, clearly having fun singing while riding through the Warner Bros. studio lot!
There was also a funny moment when Corden thought he had parked the vehicle outside of the set for Central Perk, the coffee shop in Friends. However, the cart started to roll backwards— with the stars still inside! "Honestly, just nearly killed the cast of Friends," Corden jokingly said, talking to the camera.
