In the new series 'Fixer Upper: The Hotel', fans of the two renovation pros can see up close how Chip and Joanna realize their new project.

The 'Fixer Upper' hotel that Chip and Joanna Gaines hope to restore to its original glory is located in Waco, Texas.
Just a few blocks away is Magnolia Market at the Silos, the 'Fixer Upper' couple's big grocery store. Chip and Joanna live in the area with their children.

Chip and Joanna Gaines chose the name "Hotel 1928" for their new hotel. The building dates back to that year and was known as the "Karem Shrine Building" for a long time.
When Chip and Joanna finish the renovation, the hotel will have 33 rooms across four floors. In addition to a restaurant, the two are also planning a ballroom that can be rented for events such as a wedding.
"Hotel 1928" is scheduled to open in autumn 2023. The 'Fixer Upper' fans will be able to watch the process unfold in the coming months.
