More About Dakota Johnson:
Cameraman reveals penis cover and intimate hair
"Anastasia Steele" actress Dakota Johnson had to wear tapes protecting her intimate area during sex scene filming. Dakota "had kind of a patch that went over her pubic area, and right round her whole body," according to the cameraman. Also, leading actor Jamie Dornan (41) had to wear a penis cover regularly for the films to protect his private parts.
The pubic hair on both actors are due to tricks in the editing room. About adding the hair McGarvey said: "We were in the curious situation, in postproduction, of adding [pubic hair]. I wouldn’t say it was one of the highlights of my career, but it certainly was one of the most surreal scenarios," the camera professional confessed.
For belt scenes, a butt double was cast for Johnson. So that the actress didn't get any real blows to her butt, magic was again done in the editing room. Would you have thought that?
